Still struggling with self-worth, she asks, “ Why me? What could you possibly want from me? I have nothing to offer you; someone who has everything already.” Their simple, yet soulful response, “I want you, all of you. Every quirky, defiant part of you; softness and rough edges. I want to be your strength when you’ve exhausted your own. I want to spend every moment reminding you how amazing you are. I want to learn from you and teach you. I want to help you forget the people who tried to break you; remind you of how you refused to give up. I want to experience the world from your view and share my perspective with you. You make me feel alive and I want to do the same for you.”

He continues, “Don’t doubt this, us, despite being new for both of us, this is real. Please, give us a chance.”
