My First Pasta Attempt
My first attempt making fresh pasta has turned out to be quite tasty! I seasoned the flour so it has great flavor; best to do this especially if you will not add sauce to your pasta. I use my pasta to make ramen-like dishes along with the vegetable broth I make from scraps and freeze until I need it. It took less than 20 minutes to make the pasta dough and about 10 minutes to roll it out and cut into spaghetti. Absolutely worth it and I cannot believe I did not try this sooner.
It’s best to make as much of your food as possible, especially with the food supply being poisoned. I try to make as much of my food as I can but my diet mostly consists of vegetables and unfortunately, I cannot grow them on my own at this time. No worries though, I am actively working to change this!
Anyhooooooooo, if you haven’t done so already, I encourage you to try making your own pasta. I invested in a Kitchen Aide stand mixer with the pasta attachments because I have some issues with my hands but you can make great pasta without it. To be honest, my Kitchen Aide stand mixer is one of the best gifts I’ve purchased for myself and it helps me tremendously so if you can, go ahead and get one.
Cheers to you Brothers and Sisters. May your meals be tasty and nourishing!
Sending you Love & Peace, Always,
Ayana
